Ignoring the misrepresentations and outright lies, have you noticed a running them in virtually all the Time Warner (RoadRunner) commercials, particularly the Mike O'Malley series of commercials?

The common thread is that if you are stupid Time Warner is for you.

For example:

• Stupid business people rent an entire office building floor for two people.
• Stupid woman customer wants world peace, health and prosperity for her children and (yes) free bagel friday's at work!
• Mike O'Malley is upset because you can't play games with your telephone bill.
• Mike O'Malley has his taxes done and seeks financial advice from an 8 year old.
• Mike O'Malley plays with stuffed monkies.
• etc etc

It's a pretty clear message. If you are really stupid then Time Warner is for you!

Texas Governor Republican Rick perry in regards to search and rescue missions after the storm named Ike, "I'd be very surprised if we learned anything thing from this."

Normal people would never normally say anything so stupid. But when you've been trained to speak in pubic you are told not to be absolute unless you are positive you can prove it, absolutely! In other words, always be guarded and speak in round-a-bout language. As a result you occasionally have idiotic statements made like the one above by the Texas Governor at a news conference who was just afraid to make an affirmative statement saying there were no significant issues with the search and rescue missions so far.

Was that so hard?
